Leadership is a natural thing that people have. Some people are born with it and some people can learn to obtain it. To be a leader you need to be good at what it is you are trying to be whether its an army like Alexander the Great or just a team. People could look up to you to help them because of your aura and how you carry yourself. Alexander was born great and had the power to lead others around him. There are leaders in the world and then there are followers.
